We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and driven Sales Executive to join our fantastic Pulman Sales team retailing premium Brand vehicles at our flagship Volkswagen Durham and Sunderland sites.  We are looking for an individual who is excited about working with Pulman Volkswagen and the digital showroom revolution.

Package:

OTE earning: £70,000 – unlimited
Basic salary: Excellent
Bonus scheme: Year-end performance related bonus

based in Durham.

Pulman Fleet are looking for an outstanding individual to manage our portfolio of blue chip clients.

You'll build relationships with our contacts at Director Level, explore opportunities for new business, and work in partnership with our brands confidently representing Pulman at key business meetings.

You'll also have a flair and personality for entertaining, ensuring our clients and prospective customers enjoy unique Pulman experiences.

Key features of the role:

As a Graduate Front End Web Developer, we're looking for the following:

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of modern standards for HTML, CSS and Javascript. 
  • Ability to create fully responsive integrations for a variety of devices and screen resolutions
  • Experience with Front end frameworks such as Bootstrap or similar
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop)
  • Extremely thorough, detail-oriented, organised, with the ability to be effective with your time.
  • Passionate about technology, willingness to learn and try new things showing initiative
  • Inter-personal skills with a flexible approach and an ability to adapt to circumstances
  • Portfolio of work or demonstrable ability.

Desired Skills

  • Experience of CSS pre-processors (LESS, SASS or Stylus)
  • Experience in Package Management solutions (npm, bower)
  • A good understanding of JavaScript task runners (grunt, gulp)

The Role:

We are looking for an administrator to join our aftersales department within our Volkswagen dealership in Durham.  You will provide an excellent administrative support to the Aftersales department and deliver a fantastic customer experience. The role involves:

  • Taking customer calls and taking appropriate action
  • Ensuring each customer is contacted following their appointment
  • To compile job cards for the workshop for the next day
  • Using manufacturers systems to generate service sheets
  • Carry out service filing
  • Control work in progress and invoicing
  • VHC data & brand information transfer daily
  • Contacting customers to book in for planned service work
  • General administrative duties as and when required
     

You must be able to demonstrate that you can be accurate in your work and complete tasks to a high standard within strict deadlines.  You need to be a self-starter and be able to multi-task and prioritise work load when under pressure, be comfortable to learn new IT systems and highly organised.  In return you will be offered training & development opportunities.

This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.00pm.
