Pulman Covid-19 Update

Our showrooms are open and are following Covid-19 related safety measures.

All Pulman showrooms and workshops are open for a full range of services. We are following the Government guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff, customers and community. It may feel a little different to the normal handshake welcome you are used to from Pulman, but be rest assured you will still get a warm and friendly welcome.

Government requirements:

- It is mandatory for all customers to wear face coverings when entering a Pulman showroom (unless you are exempt for health reasons).

- All customer-facing Pulman staff will also be required to wear face coverings at all times.

- All Pulman staff working behind the scenes will be required to wear a mask if the 2-metre social distancing cannot be maintained.

- All customers who enter a Pulman showroom without an appointment will be required to share their contact details for track and trace. There is a log book at the entrance of every Pulman Showroom or alternatively you can log your visit through the NHS Track and Trace app by scanning the Pulman QR code at the entrance.

- We will ask customers to continue social distancing throughout their visit by a minimum of 2-metres.

Planning your visit.

To maintain social distancing within the showrooms we ask for our customers to book a timed appointment for service and test drive enquiries.

We are accepting walk ins for sales; in these instances, we would ask the customer to fill in the track and trace logbook at the entrance or by using the NHS Track and Trace app.


Digitally Open.

For those who prefer to stay at home for now, there are many ways to view and experience our products online.

Live Video Appointments: you can now book a live video appointment with one of our Client Sales Advisors, to show you around the car and answer any questions you may have. Have your questions answered live from the comfort of your own home.

Reserve: you can reserve a used car online for only £99. This is completely refundable.

Build your deal: across Pulman Used Cars you can now ‘build your deal’. This allows you to create a finance example tailored for you, obtain a valuation for your current car and even complete an online purchase by applying for finance online.

Appointments – Sales and Service.

In order to ensure the safety of staff and customer we will be operating a contactless approach during appointments where possible.

Service appointments.
We ask you to arrive at the time of your appointment and also to be wearing a face covering. We have staggered appointment times to help maintain social distancing. On arrival you will see hand sanitiser and 2-metre floor markings on approach to the service desk, where there are contactless key drop off points.

We ask all service customers to ensure there are no personal items left in the car before dropping off, to help maintain safety for our service teams.

Sales appointments.
We ask you to arrive at the time of your appointment, as we stagger appointment times to help maintain social distancing. We would also expect customers to be wearing a face covering on entrance.

To limit the number of people within the showroom at any one time we are also asking customers to bring a maximum of one other person with them during the appointment.

On arrival there will be hand sanitiser and directional signage on the floors. Our sales teams will also be wearing a face mask and will be adhering to the 2-metre distancing rule.


Test Drives.

All test drive appointments are to be booked in advance, this helps us prepare and sanitise the car before and after a test drive appointment.

We are offering unaccompanied test drives, with a choice of pre-defined routes between 10 and 15 minutes long.

On arrival please bring with you your Driving Licence and Passport, as we require two forms of photo ID.


Courtesy cars, collect and delivery.

We are currently offering service customers the ability to book a courtesy car in advance. Unfortunately, at the moment we are not offering any lifts or collect and deliveries.

We are unable at this time to offer showroom waiting appointments, this is to minimise the number of people in the showrooms at any one time to assist with social distancing.


Picking up your new car.

All handovers follow a social distanced experience. The car will be fully sanitised for you on collection. Paperwork can all be done before the day. 

The sales person will go through the key features at a safe 2-metre social distance. Customers can also book a live video appointment after the collection to talk through key features in more detail.


Cars are fully sanitised.

Cars are fully sanitised before they are handed over to the customer, whether it is a service customer car, courtesy car, test drive car or your new car on handover.
