Come and join us as we look back at all the Volkswagen Group electric models which have won awards over the past year.
It’s been a very busy year of awards for the electric models which are available to test drive and order from Pulman Group. The Volkswagen ID.3 has scooped over 14 awards since its launch and the SKODA ENYAQ iV has been awarded the title of ‘Car of the Year’ on numerous occasions. Let’s take a look at some of the highlight awards across Volkswagen, SKODA, SEAT and CUPRA from the past 12 months.
Since the launch of the Volkswagen ID. family in 2020 the awards have never stopped for the fully electric Volkswagen models.
Let’s start with the ID.3…
As previously mentioned, the ID.3 has won over 14 awards since it’s launch in 2020. We’re not going to list them all but we want to highlight just how many awards the electric hatchback has received over a short time-frame in 2021.
• ‘Best Electric Family Car’ – WhatCar? Electric Car Awards 2021
• ‘New Car of the Year’ - Motor Trader Industry Awards
• 'Best Electric Family Car' – Driving Electric awards

• ‘Best Small Hatch’ - UK Car of the Year Awards 2021

The new Volkswagen ID.3 is available in three battery sizes (45kWh, 58kWh and 77kWh) with the largest battery offering up to 340 electric miles (based on WLTP). By using a rapid charger to charge the ID.3, you can expect an 80% battery charge in around 30 minutes!
It didn’t take the Volkswagen ID.4 long to be awarded the ‘World Car of the Year’ at the International World Car Awards in April 2021!
Volkswagen’s first fully electric SUV delivers all the SUV benefits you need, including space and performance, while being kinder to our environment. Offering up to 320 electric miles (WLTP) with the 77kWh Pro Performance battery.
The SKODA ENYAQ iV only arrived in Pulman showrooms in 2021 and it’s already picked up some of the best awards going including:

The new SEAT Leon e-HYBRID stole the spotlight at the Driving Electric Awards 2021 by being named the ‘Best Small Plug-in Hybrid Car’.
Certainly not a car to shy away from pleasing the best of both worlds; the Leon e-HYBRID is capable of travelling up to 36 miles (WLTP) with zero CO2 emissions before the petrol engine starts. Combine both the electric and petrol engine together and you’re looking at a total of around 497 mile range (WLTP).
The standalone CUPRA brand initially launched at Pulman Group in late 2020, which started with a six-figure showroom refurbishment and a new CUPRA corner, dedicated to the brand. Since the UK launch, CUPRA have released a small range of performance models to the market.
The CUPRA Formentor SUV is available with two plug-in hybrid engines (204PS and 245PS) which are paired with a 1.4-litre petrol power unit with a 115PS (85kW) electric motor, powered by a 13kWh lithium-ion battery pack offering up to 31 miles of electric range (based on WLTP).
