The health and safety of our staff, customers and community is our number one priority. On the 23rd March after the Prime Ministers announcement in his address to the Nation, we took the decision to close our business on a temporary basis. However, as we are moving to phase two of the UK Government strategy for Covid-19, we are now able to resume some of our services.
We are pleased to say that we have now re-opened two of our businesses, for service appointments only, Pulman Volkswagen Durham and Pulman SEAT Sunderland. We have the facility to service both SKODA and Volkswagen vehicles at the Volkswagen Durham branch.
Service appointments need to be booked in advance, we are currently not taking any walk-ins.
We are experiencing extremely high levels of enquiries; a member of our team will respond within 48 hours at the latest.

A member of Service Contact Centre Team will be in touch with the earliest booking appointment. Please appreciate that this is a fluid situation and we aim to re-book all customers.
We are not booking any waiting appointments at the moment, in line with current legislation therefore offered appointments will be for drop offs and collections with the option of courtesy cars.
To reassure you, Pulman have adopted all the social distancing and cleaning guidelines required. We confirm we have complied with the Government’s guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19. We will ask customers to observe the 2-metre rule and use the hand sanitisers provided on entering and leaving. We will also be thoroughly sanitising inside the cars and handles on the exterior before and after the service.
Sales Click and Collect
We are now able to offer a Click and Collect service.
What is Click and Collect?
Once you submit your new or used car enquiry a member of our sales team representing all the Brands will respond and assist you. We can contact you by phone or video call and our sales team can take you though the whole sales process digitally.
The handover experience is slightly different to the normal. To follow the safety guidelines, we ask only one person attends the appointment to pick up the new car. There will be a salesperson handing over the car whilst following the 2 metres social distancing guidelines. The car will be fully valeted and sanitised before being placed in our Click and Collect zone outside the showroom.
The Sales Executive will remain outside of your vehicle during the handover and will do so at a safe distance. They will be on hand to answer any questions you have. If required, we can also send you a personalised video to explain all the features and controls of your new car.
Your new keys will have been sanitised and will be given to you in a sealed envelope.
