The Job Role - Online Sales Executive:

Pulman Group are looking to recruit an Online Sales Executive to join our growing Marketing team. Based at our Volkswagen site in Sunderland, the role is to greet and qualify all online Pulman Group enquiries. The aim is to increase the conversion of online enquiries to appointments and then sales.

Nurturing the online enquiry predominately via outbound calling, utilising supplementary digital tools such as email, SMS, live chat, video messaging and instant messaging to assist with conversions.

This role will be responsible to monitor, track and report on outcomes and future actions for each enquiry. Delivering a fantastic customer experience.

The role is commission based and is an excellent opportunity for anyone with retail sales experience, who is comfortable with non-face to face communication to sell the appointment via digital tools. There is progression opportunity for the right person to build an online sales team in the future.

The person:

The right individual will have a retail sales background, ideally within the motor retail industry but this is not essential.
You will have outstanding communication skills and be able to use all digital tools to deliver a fantastic customer experience.
Experience of working with lead management / enquiry management systems.
Ability to create strong internal relationships.
Personal attributes; driven, tenacious, organised, efficient & forward thinking.

Essential:

  • Experience in retail sales
  • Experience in outbound call handling

Desirable:

  • Experience in converting online enquiries to appointments

Benefits:

Basic salary £16,000 to £17,500 dependant on experience
+ Commission scheme based on appointments & sales
+ Bonus scheme
OTE £28,000
Company pension scheme

Working Monday to Friday (between the hours of 8.30am and 7pm on a shift basis) with alternative Saturday’s.
